East Tulsa manufacturing company needing tank welders for 1st and 2nd shift
Primary Responsibility:
The candidate will require a minimum of 5 years experience welding mild and structural steel using gas metal arc welding (GMAW/ MIG) and flux core arc welding (FCAW) welding methods. The ability to weld in multiple positions such as flat, horizontal, and vertical are a must. Candidate must be skilled in welding fillet and butt weld joints and able to read/ interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions. Passing a weld test will be required for employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
· Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)
· Experience in layout, measuring, and fitting metal components
· Must be able to read and interpret manufacturing blue prints and weld symbols
· Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
· Overhead Crane experience
· Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
