Environment: Approximately 2000sqft of warehouse workspace allocated. The warehouse is heated, but not air-conditioned. Typically staff is 3 employees working together plus the supervisor. Production crews operate a single daily shift of Monday to Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1:00pm.
Details: The assembly area contains various workbenches, on which the products are built in progressive stages. Assemblers utilize various hand tools to strip and crimp electrical terminals, tighten fasteners, apply grease to moving parts etc. Crews also use a variety of fixtures and specialized tooling when performing assembly with manual arbor presses. In summary, the assembler must take all of the necessary components and competently assemble a to completion!
This position pays between $11 and $12 an hour depending on experience. The shift is from 6 am to 3 pm with a lunch break from 12 to 1. There are two paid 15-minute breaks one at 7:45 am and the other at 10:00 am. If they become permanent employees, we offer the following benefits:
